I don't think I've seen him, but he became a popular young man toward the latter part of the high school season. At one time he was supposed to go to prep school, but now apparently he's a qualifier.

You're always a little suspicious of guys who pop up in the spring, because sometimes they get oversold due to scarcity, but I'll sniff around a little more.

A SEC target? This report surfaced recently on Vincent Williams of Homestead (FL) South Dade. Williams averaged 26 points, 6.2 assists, 2.6 steals and 2.6 rebounds per game this past season.

Charlotte, N.C. State and Oklahoma reportedly have also made contact. UAB and St. Louis offers?

I actually did see Williams at the Nike Team Florida Workout last fall. Just couldn't remember him.

Looking at my notes, I had him rated as a mid-major plus. He may have improved since then, however, although again, you never know for sure with spring recruits.

If you hear where he might be leaning, please report. Based on his current school list, sounds like several high majors, including UGA are looking at him.
