Fordham Gets Joel Wright (2010)

Slam has a detailed piece on Wright's commitment to Fordham. I'm not sure I've seen Wright, but he had strong interest according to the story. It isn't that uncommon for New York kids to slide under the radar, as crazy as that may sound.

New Yorkers tends to make its decisions early, and for better or worse the kids who get "tagged" at a young age are expected to carry the torch. Meanwhile, the late bloomers don't get as much attention until college.

Here's a link to the Slam story: http://slamonline.com/online/college-hs/college/2009/01/wright-picks-fordham/
