Vegas Week (7/11): It’s never easy to predict what you’ll get from Anthony January. The 6-7 BF at Compton (CA) High has been extremely inconsistent during the spring and summer, never quite putting together the performances we’ve wanted to see. On the other hand, January knocked in some timely jump shots with backspin on Monday afternoon, blocked shots and effortlessly glided the court in a straight line and laterally. His Double Pump was knocked out of the tournament, but at least we saw flashes of positive development.
