Brick's EvaluationWhile we viewed him at the NBAPA Top 100 Camp and the Nike LeBron James Skills Academy, the slender 190-pound combo forward really ascended on the national scene via his sensational play in mid-July for the CP3 All-Stars 17U team at the Nike EYBL Peach Jam. In North Augusta he arguably was the best senior big man performer at the entire event, and his national stock and recruiting attention consequently sky-rocketed. He's extremely athletic, speeding downcourt for high-rising slam-dunks, soft tip-ins and a few fairly reliable mid-range jump shots. When he's fouled, he usually make the opposing team pay by hitting his free throws. He handles the ball OK for wing forward, but that really isn't his position right now, as he lacks three-point range on his jump shot. If he gains strength, continues to work on his ball-handling and expands his effective shot range, he should become an outstanding college player. This high big-time prospect is being pursued by several regional high-majors, perhaps led by UNC and Florida. Event PerformancesPrepStars.com Staff, www.PrepStars.com |
