Michigan State and Oklahoma State both scored late with the Class of 2004, getting a player each to travel west for college. Developing big man Idong Ibok chose the Spartans, while the Cowboys landed JamesOn Curry.

Not content to sweat it out as fall signee Marquise Gray reportedly continues to work toward academic eligibility, Michigan State added Ibok, a 6-10 C who prepped this year at Montverde (FL) Academy. Ibok broke onto the scene at the Nike All-America Camp last summer, showing good rebounding and shot-blocking skills, if a little less polish on offense.

Curry isn't the most explosive guard in the class, but he's a big-time scorer who broke state records to etch himself into the record book. He shoots well spotting up and on the move, and he's a better passer than many realize.

Another press conference reportedly is set for Wednesday afternoon -- that of touted rising senior Ryan Ayers, a talented wing who has been absent from major spring events. Notre Dame and Virginia are considered the favorites. ...
