Louisville received a commitment from 6-5 junior WG Mike Marra from Northfield (MA) Mt. Hermon. Marra long favored the Cardinals and was considered a likely commitment for weeks. Marra solidified himself as a national recruit at the recent National Prep School Invitational. He's an excellent long-distance shooter who will have no troubles extending his range to the new (for next season) college three-point distance. He's also a capable passer and handler who competes at a high level. He'll need to get stronger for the Big East. MORE PLEDGES. ...Louisville junior NY PG pledge Lamont Jones reopened his recruitment. He likely will draw regional mid- and high-major interest. ... Mike Bruesewitz, a 6-7junior BF/WF at Mendota Heights (MN) Sibley, pledged to Wisconsin. Bruesewitz has averaged 16 points and 11 rebounds per game this season. He mostly had been a regional recruit, but his interest had begun to pick up from more varied places over the course of the season. ... Penn State added a pledge from Cammeron Woodyard, a 6-5 senior WG from Westminster (MD) High. He averages 20 points per game. ...
