Florida won out for one of the nation’s best juniors, getting a commitment from MO WG/PG Brad Beal, one of the nation’s best scorers off the dribble. Beal chose the Gators over Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Ohio State and others.

Beal is a smooth scorer who drills long bombs yet also puts the ball on the floor and is able to create offense himself and others. Interestingly, he is the third St. Louis product — joining David Lee and Alex Tyus — to play for Florida since Billy Donovan took over in Gainesville.
