ALEXANDER MAKES HIS PICK

Texas A&M landed a very nice commitment, getting the services of TX BF Daniel Alexander. A 6-7 BF at Dripping Springs (TX) High, Alexander chose the Aggies over interest from Texas, Arizona, Southern Cal and others.

For a state that gives its prospects a pretty solid push, Alexander slipped under the radar for a long time. It really wasn't until the Pangos All-American Camp last summer that he made national notice, and since that time he has been a clear high-major target.

The key for Alexander will be to add muscle to his frame in order to match up defensively in the Big 12. Clearly, though, he'll be causing plenty of matchup problems of his own due to his ability to face the basket and shoot the ball.
