One guy we’ve caught in action a decent amount, but not as much as others, is GA BF Marcus Thornton. A Clemson signee, Thornton is a 6-7 BF at Atlanta (GA) Westlake who has impressed us as a top-125 caliber senior but is esteemed by others as a clear top-100 talent.

Thankfully, we’ll get an opportunity to watch Thornton at the upcoming Chic-Fil-A Classic to form a firmer opinion. In the meantime, you can check out the link below to a Youtube video.

We always warn readers to be very hesitant about drawing strong conclusions from online videos or film in general, but here at least you can get a feel for Thornton’s game. And he certainly has jumped out to a big start this season, so hopefully we’ll observe him ready for a major step next week.
