A COUPLE ELITE UPDATES

There haven’t been any major commitments thus far this week — and in the upcoming months the pace of pledges will slow because most guys are off the board already — but of course there are several key recruitments to track during the season.

Starting in Baltimore, big-time guard Josh Selby has added to his list of schools that previously had included Kentucky, Kansas, Miami, Syracus and Indiana. Now, Selby may take a visit to Arizona, which is looking for a lead scoring guard with tremendous desire.

MCCALLUM LIKES FOUR

A corollary to the Selby recruitment is that of MI PG Ray McCallum. The dynamic playmaker and improved athlete also is a top target of Arizona, and the son of Detroit coach Ray Sr. further adds intrigue to his pursuit.

Florida, Arizona, UCLA and, yes, Detroit, reportedly (see story here) comprise the final four, down from the previous five which had included Oklahoma as well.
