Pardon the pun, but one of the big dogs in the senior class is off the board. Days after backing off a pledge to Southern Cal, MS/CA big man Renardo Sidney has signed with Mississippi State.

Sidney's journey has taken him from the Magnolia State to California, different high schools and through a winding set of turns relating to his recruitment. The Bulldogs ultimately won out, and what is likely to be a one-year experience could result in huge gains on the court for MSU.

Meanwhile, our travels take us to Lawrence, Kan., this weekend for the Jayhawk Invitational. The event will be featuring presumed No. 1 rising senior Harrison Barnes along with numerous other regional high-major prospects, both in the Class of 2010 and from the underclasses.
