TIGERS ADD MOREPrepStars.com
Two sets of Tigers landed commitments, as both Memphis and Auburn made pickups in time for the end of the fall signing period. At Memphis, Josh Pastner’s club added VA C Hippolyte Tsafack, an emerging center who runs the floor hard, blocks shots and toss down emphatic slams. We first viewed Tsafack at the Super Slamfest in Virginia last February, and he also gained exposure on the travel circuit during the spring and summer. Tsafack definitely is more raw offensively that some of he elite senior big men, but his role early likely will be to loom as the enforcer and finisher alongside scorers such as Will Barton and Joe Jackson. Moving to Auburn, Jeff Lebo’s Tigers added a player for the second straight day. Though not as touted as Shawn Kemp Jr., Auburn also landed Allen Payne, a 6-6 WF at Cincinnati (OH) Woods. Payne is an unsung wing who had attracted interest from VCU and others. |
